score a score
rebrand score a score as the cool, sound professionals they are. it should look technical, mature, flexible, and always friendly.
OVERVIEW
Score a Score has been creating and proliferating custom music since 2010. I worked directly with founder Jordan Passman to create a new look that would elevate the brand and excite their loyal client base. The new identity would be used for a new sales deck, social media, and a new website.

Branding
Illustration
Illustration is an important element to SAS's brand. It is a perfect outlet to show off their personality and infuse some of the key characteristics: "technical", "hand-crafted", "friendly" and "clever".
Logo development
Creating a letter mark felt natural because of the repetition in their name and just how flexible an S is. We wanted it to feel musical without being literal.
The winner took reference from their original logo—a speaker. The semi-circles looked musical (as in orchestral arrangements or speaker cones), the repetition in the forms mimicked the repetition in the name, and it looked like it was smiling back at you.
reception
It is a rewarding experience working with a company that truly knows their clients and has a relationship with them. The passion behind Score a Score is clear.
